Here we have for sale a 1943 Ford GPW. Just imported from Australia, which as you can see in the pictures is in good condition.

It is UK registered with age related registration and V5 is present.

The Jeep was owned by a military vehicle enthusiast for years and has original nomenclature plates with matching engine and chassis numbers, and is still the original 6volt electrical system and fitted with a new high output rubber case battery. Rear number plate light and Indicator are fitted to make road legal.

The popular modification on the rear whereby the blackout marker lights are wired as indicators has been carried out.

Regularly serviced and well maintained.

As you would expect for a Jeep it drives well, it starts on the button, gear change is smooth, steering sharp and brakes that stop you as they should.

It gets driven so mileage will slightly increase.

The canvas roof and seats are all new Worthing canvas, and is complete with 5 combat wheels with new bar grip tyres.

Lot of extras fitted including:

  • Original axe & shovel.

  • Side safety straps.

  • Radio filter etc.

Both the drivers and passengers seat has been modified to allow more comfort for a taller owner.
